Human Subject Training
All trainees are required to complete a web-based tutorial (developed by the Washington University Human Studies Committee) to educate researchers about the requirements and regulations involved in conducting human research. The tutorial (through five modules) provides information on the history of conducting human research, reviews basic principles of autonomy, beneficence, and justice, describes the process of obtaining informed consent, and establishes guidelines for applying to conduct human research.
To complete the University's Human Subjects Education module, please access the Web AIS website and follow these instructions. Please complete the CITI education module for members of a Biomedical Research team.
